New titles for Games for Windows - LIVE
Three keenly awaited new titles have confirmed they will be utilizing the Games for Windows – LIVE service upon release.

At the recent E3 show in Los Angeles, Bethesda Softworks confirmed that Fallout 3 will use the LIVE service to deliver exclusive content to players. Meanwhile, THQ revealed that Warhammer® 40,000™: Dawn of War® II will use Games for Windows – LIVE both to deliver downloadable content and for its multiplayer system. Also at E3, Eidos announced its forthcoming title, Battlestations Pacific, will use Games for Windows – LIVE too.

New Game Modes for Gears of War 2 (6/17/08)

Gears of War 2, the keenly-awaited sequel to the hit Xbox 360 and Games For Windows tactical action shooter Gears of War, will feature a host of new game modes, it has been announced.

Scheduled for release in November, Gears of War 2 will feature four new modes for multiplayer action – Wingman, Submission, Guardian and Horde.

New games for every type of gamer! (6/15/08)

The world of the Xbox 360® just got bigger, broader and more exciting with the announcement of a host of new games at the annual E3 Media and Business Summit (E3) in Los Angeles.
In addition to new music titles ‘Lips’, ‘Rock Band 2’ and ‘Guitar Hero World Tour’, Microsoft unveiled a portfolio of family-friendly games including ‘You’re In the Movies’, ‘Scene It: Box Office Smash’, ‘UNO Rush’ and ‘Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise’. It also announced a partnership with Netflix for the streaming of videos and TV shows on Xbox Live and revealed it will debut a new channel, Xbox LIVE Primetime, which will debut in the fall.

"Xbox 360 delivers entertainment choices so broad that it now rivals what people can find on television and at movie theaters," said Shane Kim, corporate vice president of strategy and business development with Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business.
